Job Description
The Packaging Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational effectiveness through both human and technology resource optimization. Responsible for creating a roadmap of process and technology solutions which will drive efficient and effective execution. Implement procedures impacting operations across quality materials management engineering and EH&S. Assure compliance within the manufacturing unit or site while delivering high levels of customer service and complying with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Assist teams in troubleshooting manufacturing issues. Provide technical knowledge and training to efficiently produce the highest quality products.
Support packaging by managing the process of investigating exceptions and implementing effective CAPAs.
Manage all aspects of technical training for new and existing packaging personnel. Manage the development of training content including new product introduction and process development.
Drive Continuous improvement within packaging to identify cost savings standard cost reductions and environmental improvements.
Develop and implement business strategies to reduce cost lead identification and recommendations of actions that adapt and transform the organization to meet changing business needs.
Develop and manage staff through hiring managing performance developing talent and providing clear expectations.
With staff and input from other organizations able to synthesize action plans timelines and budgets for project and product goals.
Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesQualifications
Bachelors degree in Science Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration. Five years of experience in a manufacturing facility preferably in Packaging.
Business acumen coupled with functional leadership experience is required to drive high performance in a complex manufacturing operations.
Experience leading a team of 20 of indirect and direct reporting Packaging Manufacturing.
Strong analytical capabilities ability to work cross-functionally communicate effectively and execute.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
