Job Description
The Packaging Line Leader is responsible for supervising the daily operation of a pharmaceutical packaging line to meet production targets while ensuring quality safety and compliance with regulatory standards. This role is critical in driving team performance and ensuring line efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:-
Lead and supervise packaging operators on assigned shift

Coordinate with supervisors on production goals and daily output

Ensure compliance with cGMP SOPs OSHA DEA and internal policies

Maintain line documentation logs and batch records accurately
-
Monitor incoming/outgoing materials to meet packaging requirements

Assign and rotate team members based on production needs

Act as departmental lead in supervisors absence
-
Support audits and inspections by maintaining a compliant work area

Perform other related duties as assigned including occasional weekend/overtime work

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging

Experience with generic pharmaceuticals is preferred

Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills

Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

Ability to troubleshoot minor line issues and guide team members

Strong organizational and documentation skills

Adaptability to fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
