Schedule Information: Monday Friday 5:30 am - 2:30 pm
hours may vary depending on district needs
Estimated Start Date: Immediately after hire
start date is contingent upon clearance of background screening
through the FBI and Washington State Patrol.
End Date (if temporary): This is a continuing position.
Salary: $23.35 - $28.01dependent on placement

Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for completion of the following items in addition to those listed in the Job Description (see above)
- Must pass DOT drug screening as required by law and may be required to undergo school bus driver medical examination.
- Must successfully pass the Department of Transportation physical capabilities test.
- Possess or become eligible for a valid drivers license including a Commercial Drivers License Class B with passenger school bus or air brake endorsements and a valid Washington State School Bus Operators Authorization.
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- High School diploma or equivalent (documentation required at time of application).
- Required to have a valid First Aid card including CPR and training for HIV/AIDS procedures.
- Successful Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint Clearance.
- Valid Washington State drivers license or evidence of mobility and valid Washington State school bus driver certificate.
- Proof of Immunization (if born 1/1/57 or later).
- I-9 Employment Eligibility in compliance with the Immigrations Reform and Control Act.
- Completion of all district-required trainings within thirty (30) calendar days from hire date with the exception of CDL training which could go beyond thirty (30) calendar days.
