Location: Sunrise Park Resort
Position Title: Finance Director
Employment Status: Full-time; Exempt
Reports To: General Manager
Salary: $65000 (DOE)
Summary: The Finance Manager oversees all financial and accounting operations for Sunrise Park Resort and serves as a member of the management team. Sunrise Park Resort is a premier recreation destination offering the most ski runs and acreage in Arizona. Sunrise is a year-round resort in Greer Arizona offering winter and summer outdoor activities. Generous employee benefits included. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Draft annual & quarterly financial statements and complete other financial reporting obligations.
Prepare budgets financial modeling and projections.
Cash management.
Internal audits and accounting.
External reporting and managing external audits.
Analyze return on investments.
Handle accounts payable.
Follow and apply GAP.
Required Education And Experience Required:
Bachelors degree (B.A.) in accounting business or finance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified Public Accountant credentials desired.
Resort or service industry background preferred.
Strong communication organization and time management skills.
Experience with multiple business transactions systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel QuickBooks POS and other similar systems.
Stand and/or walk for several hours at a time and easily move throughout the property in both winter and summer.
Bend and twist without assistance.
Hike on uneven terrain operate and ride ski lifts and operate ATV or UTV.
Must be able to work outside in winter or summer conditions (snow rain wind heat).
Base Elevation: 9200 feet. Closest towns: Pinetop and Greer AZ.
