Other Conditions: Lecturer applicant pool for Academic Year 2025 - 2026. Positions are part-time temporary non-tenure and contingent upon course offerings sufficient student enrollment position clearance and availability of funding. Must be available to teach courses during the day evening weekend and/or via distance learning as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses including ENG 100 ENG 100T and ENG 200-level courses.
- Hold a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
- Develop and prepare course schedules syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.
- Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters degree in English or closely related field from a top-tier accredited college or university.
- At least 3 years of demonstrated success teaching English Composition professional writing media creative writing or literature at an accredited university.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience teaching in multiple modalities (e.g. online in-person hybrid).
- Experience working with diverse student populations and a commitment to developing skills in inclusive pedagogy.
- Evidence of excellence in college-level teaching.
