Job Description
In June Brainlab announced the spin-off of its former subsidiary Snke. While both companies will operate independently they will continue to collaborate closely. You will initially join the IT at Brainlab to support Snke during the transition after which you will fully transition to Snke to continue your career.
As part of our IT department you will play a key role in supporting the newly separated company. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a foundational team that will not only ensure continuity of IT services but also help design and implement the IT landscape for a new independent organization.
Were looking for a hands-on IT infrastructure pioneer with a broad skillset leadership potential and the drive to shape Snkes future Core IT infrastructure.
As this role will grow into a central position within Snkes expanding IT organization were seeking someone who not only masters diverse technologies but is also ready to take ownership lead initiatives and help build a strong scalable infrastructure from the ground up.

- Data center facilities
- Virtualization and container infrastructure
- Storage system landscape
- Backup and disaster recovery
- Windows and Linux server management
- Cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes with a proactive and service-oriented mindset.
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure environments
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture designs
- Hands-on experience with servers storage systems and backup environments in on-prem facilities
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure management
- Good understanding of IT security concepts
- Analytical troubleshooting skills
- Exposure to data center and network automation
- Structured analytical and service-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
- Relevant certifications are a plus
