Senior IT Strategy Advisor
Rapid Cycle Solutions LLC (RCS) is an innovative small business providing IT and management consulting services to the U.S. Federal Government and commercial clients. We have unique strengths in complex cross-organizational solution analysis design development implementation and change management supporting enterprise requirements. *Note: This position is pending award and selection therefore is contingent in nature. This effort is estimated to be awarded mid-August with start dates ranging from mid-September to early October.
RCS is seeking a Senior IT Strategy Advisor to guide Infrastructure Operations (IO) leadership on strategy intake governance and reporting directly shaping how Treasury leverages technology.
This position requires the candidate to meet specific Security Clearance obligations to work onsite in Washington DC with the potential for remote and/or hybrid. Relocation assistance is not available.
What you will do:
- Serve as strategic advisor to the ACIO for Infrastructure Operations (IO) on IT portfolio priorities and modernization roadmaps.
- Facilitate enterprise-wide communications and executive briefings for OCIO and oversight bodies.
- Oversee development of dashboards that improve decision-making and transparency across Treasury.
- Identify and mitigate strategic risks; present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of innovation aligned to our values.
Required Qualifications/Education:
- Clearance: Active Public Trust Tier4 security clearance or the ability to obtain particularly within the Department of the Treasury. Treasury badge strongly preferred.
- Masters degree or Bachelors degree with 10 years advising Federal CIO organizations (strategy governance IT management).
- Proven expertise translating complex technical concepts for executive audiences.
- Experience with IT portfolio analytics and performance dashboards (e.g. Power BI).
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- PMP ITIL 4 or SAFe certification.
- Treasury or IRS OCIO experience.
