ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Planning & Operations
- Design and implement a values-driven service model that meets client needs while honoring regulatory academic and therapeutic requirements.
- Define clear measurable program goals and coordinate human financial and material resources with flexibility and responsiveness.
- Continuously monitor program performance initiating creative improvements that reflect Graftons culture of innovation and accountability.
- Ensure services are integrated and aligned to reinforce one another within academic residential clinical supporting each childs holistic development.
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Lead a residential team of 6 direct reports by example building a culture rooted in teamwork high standards and mission-first focus.
- Hire train and develop staff with intention cultivating a growth mindset and reinforcing performance through coaching and real-time feedback.
- Engage your team in solution-oriented supervision ensuring each individual feels seen valued and challenged.
- Promote collaboration consistent communication and staff ownership of their work and outcomes.
Collaboration
- Serve as a connector between residential clinical and executive leadership helping Grafton operate as one team committed to shared success.
- Leverage strong on-site resources and multidisciplinary partnerships to deliver integrated adaptive care solutions.
- Participate actively in interdepartmental planning and problem solving.
Training & Development
- Identify skills gaps and design staff development plans that reflect Graftons belief in every employees potential to grow.
- Mentor Residential Managers not just in policy but in peoplemodeling how to support staff well while driving excellence.
- Guide managers in building high-functioning cohesive teams that thrive even in challenging environments.
Budget & Resource Management
- Develop and manage program budgets with clarity and accountability always aligning resources to the needs of our clients and staff.
- Oversee spending and resource allocation to support safe well-equipped and mission-aligned service delivery.
Client & Family Support
- Collaborate on client intake and placement decisions with empathy and professionalism.
- Build trust with families and guardians through transparent values-based communication.
- Ensure the program upholds trauma-informed person-centered practices consistently advocating for client rights.
- Respond to incidents with calm leadership supporting both clients and staff during crisis events 24/7.
System & Communication Improvement
- Model Graftons Stronger Together culture by driving consistent follow-through and clear communication systems across residential operations.
- Identify breakdowns propose collaborative solutions and follow through to resolutionsetting the tone for a culture of ownership.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
One of the following is required:
- Masters degreein social work psychology or counseling and two years of professional experience working with children (including one year in a residential facility and one year in a supervisory role);
OR
- Bachelors degreein a related field and three years of experience working with children (including one year in a residential facility and one year of supervisory experience);
OR
- High school diploma or GED with five years of experience working with children (including one year in a residential facility and one year of supervisory experience).
- OR A combination of education and experience working with children that demonstrates ability to perform the job
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Valid drivers license required
- MondayThursday: 12:30 PM 8:30 PM or later as needed based on program needs
- This role requires active presence during evenings and weekends to lead residential operations during high-needs times
- Administrative on-call responsibilities are included

COMPENSATION
Starting at $42.21/hour up to $56.44/hour commensurate with experience and qualifications.
