What We Do

We are an integrated health system providing the full continuum of care to the six communities of the western James Bay coast with over 500 employees physicians and partners in care. Who You Are
- Experienced nurse with 5 years nursing experience in acute care/primary care setting and 3 years of supervision and leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team while supporting each member in their roles
- Strong interpersonal leadership and team building capabilities
- Deep knowledge of nursing role and enhanced scope
What Youll Do
- In partnership with the Clinical Manager takes a lead role in program development and improvement in the acute care and emergency environment including both operational and clinical teams
- Ensuring monthly audits are completed and evaluated to comply with the hospital wide continuous quality assurance program
- Coordinates the interprofessional team to provide quality patient care through fostering effective professional relationships with medical staff nurse practitioners nurses ancillary services patients and family members
- Assists with the orientation of new hires and establishes policies of the unit with consultation with the Charge Nurses and Educators.
What You Bring
- Diploma in Nursing required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Registered with College of Nurses of Ontario and in good standing
- Relevant Acute and Emergency Care Certifications
- Supervision and leadership experience required
- Ability to communicate in the local Cree language is considered an asset

Salary: $ 89797.50 - $ 128700.00
