Job Description
RN - Cardiac ICU (Permanent Role)
Location: Dallas TX 75226
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Supervise nursing staff and manage unit workflow during the night shift
- Conduct in-depth clinical assessments and prioritize individualized care plans
- Adjust care strategies based on patient outcomes and condition changes
- Foster therapeutic relationships with patients families and staff
- Educate patients families and staff to enhance care decisions and self-management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners
- Delegate responsibilities appropriately and follow up to ensure accountability
- Lead problem-solving efforts and promote a culture of safety and efficiency
- Support professional development of staff through coaching and feedback
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all hospital and regulatory standards
- Ensure ethical compassionate and patient-centered care delivery
- Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (Bachelors Preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience (ICU/Cardiac ICU)
- Licensure/Certification:
- Registered Nurse (RN) Active Texas License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required (or within 30 days of hire)
- Strong knowledge of nursing practice state laws and regulatory standards
- Familiarity with hospital policies and patient safety guidelines
- Proficiency in clinical terminology medication management and critical care protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills-both written and verbal
- Proficient with electronic medical records Microsoft Office and clinical systems
- Strong leadership decision-making and conflict resolution abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
