Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Essential Functions: - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and identify priority needs.
- Develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans adjusting as necessary to meet goals.
- Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families demonstrating empathy professionalism and clinical expertise.
- Promote informed decision-making by educating patients families and community members on health conditions and care options.
- Evaluate and document learning needs and education outcomes.
- Collaborate with peers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
- Delegate responsibilities appropriately and ensure timely follow-up.
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to address patient care challenges.
- Maintain a strong focus on patient safety quality and efficiency in all aspects of care.
- Actively contribute to the professional development of peers and participate in community outreach as needed.
Key Success Factors: - In-depth knowledge of nursing principles patient care standards and clinical procedures.
- Familiarity with state nursing laws professional guidelines and hospital policies.
- Proficiency in medical terminology disease prevention treatment protocols and pharmacology.
- Strong adherence to nursing ethics and patient confidentiality standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office EHR systems and secure communication platforms.
Required Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active and Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
- BLS certification (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
