Mammography Technologist (Permanent Role) Location: Plano TX 75093
Shift: 8-hr Days 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Essential Functions: - Perform high-quality breast imaging exams (screening and diagnostic mammograms) following established protocols and safety standards.
- Perform stereotactic biopsies ultrasound-guided biopsies and needle localizations as required.
- Ensure proper patient identification exam verification and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET techniques (Acknowledge Introduce Duration Explanation Thank You).
- Prepare exam room and equipment; position patients appropriately and use immobilization devices when necessary.
- Follow infection control safety drug and radiation protocols.
- Maintain equipment in proper working order; report issues promptly.
- Assist in inventory management and supply restocking.
- Verify documentation including requisitions patient history pregnancy status consent forms etc.
- Maintain accurate imaging records in the appropriate systems in a timely and compliant manner.

Qualifications: Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography. Required
Certifications & Licenses (All Required):
- BLS (Basic Life Support): Must be current or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist): Texas State License required.
- ARRT-R (Radiography): Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- ARRT-M (Mammography): Current Mammography certification by ARRT.
