Key Responsibilities HR Administration Policies & Employee Relations
- Act as a main point of contact for employees and managers for HR-related matters providing guidance and support across the employee lifecycle.
- Deliver timely responses to HR enquiries in compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations.
- Handle core HR processes including onboarding induction changes in employment and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records using HR information systems.
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures to promote consistency across the company.
- Assist in facilitating positive employee relations and engagement initiatives.
People Processes & Talent Management
- Coordinate and support recruitment administration including job postings interview scheduling and documentation.
- Assist with performance management cycles including appraisals probation reviews and feedback collation.
- Help organise internal training sessions learning and development activities.
- Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
Compliance Reporting & Best Practice in Human Resources
- Ensure adherence to employment legislation and updates affecting HR processes and contracts.
- Prepare required reports for management including metrics on absence attrition and employee engagement.
- Assist with audits documentation checks and statutory compliance processes.
- Contribute to a safe respectful and inclusive environment for all team members.
Ideal Candidate Profile Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field (or equivalent demonstrable experience).
- 24 years experience in an HR Generalist HR Coordinator or similar people support role.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and best practice HR processes.
- Solid experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality empathy and professionalism in all circumstances.
- Proactive detail-oriented and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
