Job Description

This a full time calendar year positionThe Greenwood School is a small mission-driven boarding school located in the beautiful hills of Southern Vermont. We serve incredible students with complex learning profiles through a highly individualized integrated academic and residential program rooted in the outdoors arts and experiential education. Our close-knit community is dedicated to helping students thrivesocially emotionally and are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Advancement/Admission Associate to support the schools efforts in admissions development alumni engagement and events. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team working to grow the schools reach and strengthen its community Associate Responsibilities:Admissions Support (40%)Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for prospective families and professionalsManage inquiries applications and supporting documents through the admissions databaseCoordinate and schedule campus visits interviews and toursSupport applicant review processes and maintain organized confidential recordsAdvancement & Alumni Relations (40%)Assist with donor management and gift processing using the schools CRM/database systemHelp maintain accurate donor student and alumni recordsCoordinate alumni outreach efforts including communications updates and event invitationsSupport grant research donor acknowledgments and stewardship activitiesEvent and Communications Support (20%)Assist in planning and executing events including admissions open houses fundraising campaigns and alumni gatheringsCoordinate event logistics such as scheduling communications materials and follow-upSupport school communications newsletters and social media updatesIdeal Candidate Will Have:Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceStrong organizational communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency with databases or CRM systems (experience with Blackbaud Salesforce or similar a plus)Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize effectively and work independently in a small team settingA commitment to confidentiality equity and working with families and students with diverse backgroundsPrior experience in admissions fundraising events or education/nonprofit settings is helpful but not requiredTo Apply:Please submit a resume cover letter and three references to Karla Rinfret ().
