Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for electrical Balance of Plant (BOP) components to support hydropower projects.
- Identify qualify and manage suppliers for a wide range of electrical commodities.
- Collaborate with design engineering quality and project execution teams to understand technical requirements and ensure timely procurement.
- Drive RFQs technical-commercial bid evaluations supplier negotiations and order placement through ERP (SAP or similar).
- Ensure material readiness aligned with project schedules and proactively manage supply chain risks.
- Monitor and analyze commodity market trends price movements and supplier performance to ensure competitiveness and availability.
- Maintain compliance with company standards statutory regulations and sustainability guidelines.
- Lead vendor development initiatives and localization strategies in alignment with project and company goals.
- Manage cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and performance standards.
- Coordinate inspection FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) logistics and delivery tracking of BOP electrical equipment.
