Full-Time Faculty Biomedical Engineering (Position Requires Relocation to Kuwait)
Location: KuwaitAcademic Year
Position requires relocation; only candidates unaccompanied by dependents are eligible.
American International University (AIU) in Kuwait is seeking dynamic student-focused faculty to join its Biomedical Engineering program in the School of Engineering & Computing. This is a full-time on-ground role for individuals passionate about teaching abroad mentoring students and contributing to a growing international institution.
What Youll Do
- Teach undergraduate courses in:
- Biomedical Signals and Systems
- Biomedical Instrumentation
- Medical Imaging
- Biomedical Signals and Systems
- Supervise and mentor undergraduate student projects
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic advising
- Participate in departmental school and university service
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment
- Engage in research and scholarly activity related to biomedical engineering
Qualifications
- Masters or Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field
- Strong communication skills in English (instruction is in English)
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and student success
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse faculty and student body
- Preferred:
- University-level teaching experience
- An active research agenda in biomedical systems or medical technologies
- University-level teaching experience
