Position Title: APS4 Diary Manager
Employment Type: Labour hire Approx. 6 months with possible extension
Location: Canberra ACT
Hourly Pay Rate: $49.82 - $52.65 12% superannuation
Security Clearance/Requirements: Must hold a Baseline clearance at time of application
Working Arrangements: Part time - Up to 20 hours per week

ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Diary Manager to provide high-level executive support within a high-performing team in a Federal Government agency. This role will see you managing the day-to-day schedule of the CEO and where required the Deputy CEO ensuring that time is effectively allocated in line with strategic priorities. Youll act as a central point of contact for scheduling and coordination while engaging with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced and professional environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and coordinate the daily calendar of senior executives including meetings appointments and travel

  • Act as the primary liaison for scheduling requests for the CEO and DCEO

  • Assess and prioritise meeting and diary requests in alignment with strategic goals

  • Coordinate travel using APS travel systems adhering to relevant policies

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with Executive Officers to support a range of administrative and operational tasks

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in diary or executive support ideally within a government or high-level corporate environment

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-paced setting

  • High level of discretion and sound judgement with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a professional approach to stakeholder engagement

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using government systems (desirable)

  • Ability to quickly understand organisational goals and operate with initiative

ELIGIBILITY

  • Must be an Australian citizen

  • Must hold a Baseline security clearance at time of application.
