Job Description

Step into the role

Are you motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a company that plays a key role in strengthening defense capabilities As Talent Acquisition Specialist at MilDef you will take on a central role in managing and coordinating recruitment processes primarily in Sweden with focus on our offices in Helsingborg and Stockholm and with international support when needed. Your focus will be on recruiting engineers across various disciplines especially within hardware development as well as key roles in support functions such as purchasing production quality and IT.

A strong emphasis will be placed on proactive sourcing and search especially for positions where competition for skills is high and a structured targeted approach is essential.

You report to the Chief People Officer at MilDef.
The position is based in Helsingborg.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for technical and support function roles
  • Lead job requirement discussions prepare and publish job ads and coordinate interviews
  • Drive proactive candidate sourcing
  • Identify and connect with engineers and specialists through structured and ongoing search efforts
  • Develop and manage long-term candidate pipelines to meet future hiring needs in key competence areas
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience and consistent recruitment practices across the organization
  • Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process in Helsingborg Stockholm and other sites as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the recruitment system Teamtailor
  • Coordinate reference checks background screening and testing
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to improve and streamline recruitment workflows

What you bring

    • At least three years of experience in recruitment preferably for technical or specialist roles
    • Solid experience in proactive sourcing and headhunting especially through LinkedIn Recruiter and other search tools ideally within engineering or specialist fields
    • Proficiency in working with applicant tracking systems preferably Teamtailor
    • Ability to coach and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
    • Strong communication skills and fluency in both Swedish and English written and spoken
