Job Description
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that quality is maintained throughout the software development life cycle. This role involves developing quality assurance plans implementing and evaluating software quality processes and ensuring that software and documentation meet established standards at each phase of the development cycle.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
Determine the resources required for quality control activities.

Maintain the required level of quality throughout the software life cycle.

Develop and implement software quality assurance (SQA) plans.

Establish and maintain processes for evaluating software and associated documentation.

Participate in both formal and informal reviews at key points in the software development life cycle to assess quality.

Examine and evaluate the existing SQA process and recommend necessary enhancements or modifications.

Develop and enforce quality standards for software development and documentation.

Education:
-
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Business or another related scientific or technical discipline.

General Experience:
-
Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with quality control methods and tools.

Specialized Experience:
-
At least three (3) years of experience in the following areas:

Software verification and validation
-
Software testing and integration
-
Software metrics and their application to quality assessment

Demonstrated knowledge of system and project life cycles
