Job Description
Location: Marble Falls TX 78654
Shift: Full-time days 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform comprehensive or problem-focused physical exams and medical histories.
- Order collect interpret and evaluate diagnostic and laboratory tests.
- Prescribe and manage medical therapies and perform indicated procedures in accordance with protocols.
- Provide evidence-based care and develop treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
- Counsel patients and families on treatment plans medications and lifestyle changes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for integrated patient care.
- Provide consultation-level services for specialty-related conditions.
- Perform invasive procedures as permitted by scope of practice.
- Participate in population health initiatives and patient panel management.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic and treatment practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate lab and diagnostic tests.
- Competence in using electronic health records and healthcare software.
- Interpersonal skills for building rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate counseling on physical and mental health matters.
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience required).
- License/Certifications:
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Texas.
- Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
