Job Description

RN Float Pool (Permanent Role)

Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality compassionate nursing care to a variety of patient populations.
  • Float between different units (MedSurg/Telemetry) as needed.
  • Assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care plans.
  • Document patient care accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Support and educate patients and families on treatments and post-discharge care.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program (Associates or Bachelors).
  • Current RN Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas (or compact license).
  • BLS Basic Life Support certification (required within 30 days of hire).
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in MedSurg/Telemetry in an acute care inpatient setting.
  • Float Pool experience is highly desired but not required.
  • Strong critical thinking adaptability and communication skills.
