Job Description
Physician Assistant-Surgery (Permanent Role)
Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: Full Time Days 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Provide comprehensive medical care for patients with Cardiovascular conditions and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS).
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Assist surgeons in the Operating Room during cardiovascular and thoracic procedures.
- Collaborate with attending physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient histories physical examinations treatment plans and follow-up care in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses procedures and long-term care and prevention strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives as directed.
Education:
- Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program
Experience:
- Less than 1 year of experience
Certifications/Licensure:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 30 days of hire or transfer
- Current Texas PA License Must be active and in good standing
