Ensure compliance with Group Accounting Policies and IFRS standards.
Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and manage external audit processes for the divisions and specifically CSSL (Capita Shared Services Ltd)
Maintain and complete the Key Controls Questionnaire (KCQ) and ensure ongoing compliance.
Conduct regular balance sheet reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Oversee the month-end close process including journal park and post activities.
Reporting & Analysis
Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting including MCS and FCF submissions.
Provide financial insights and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Operational Finance
Maintain and update internal people rate cards to ensure accurate cost allocations.
Manage internal billing processes and ensure alignment with service delivery.
Oversee ad-hoc pay and PSA processes.
Strategic Finance & Transformation
Lead divisional accounting for Cost Transformation Agenda (CTA) including savings tracking and reporting.
Support key accounting initiatives including treatment of complex transactions and alignment with evolving group policies.
Systems & Access Management
Manage access to finance systems (e.g. Workday SAC) ensuring appropriate roles and controls are in place.
Coordinate with IT and HR to maintain secure and efficient system access for finance users.
Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with Group Finance Audit and Compliance teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
Active member of the Divisional finance teams
Team Leadership
Support and mentor junior finance team members fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
