Our client is a long-established family-owned and operated food manufacturer specializing in a niche market.
Role Overview
Reporting into the Director of Finance this position is responsible for FP&A tasks and working cross functionally with other departments. This is a very strategic forward thinking role and is key in supporting various operational teams for growth while also managing a small team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing the annual operating plan
- Month end analysis withcomments on variances with a focus on sales cogs and gross profit.
- Lead monthly variance analysis and reporting
- Provide business partnering to key stakeholders
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance and participate in the capital review process
- Lead the development of the annual budget periodic forecasts and support long-range strategic planning
- Provide leadership and coaching to a small team of financial analysts
Qualifications
CPA designation CFA or MBA
- 5 years of experience in a finance role particularly in the CPG Industry
- 2 years at a managerial or mentorship level.
CPG Industry experience preferred
Standard costing and production variance analysis expertise required
Strong ERPexperience -SAP and Power BI preferred
