Our client is a long-established family-owned food manufacturer specializing in a niche market.
Role Overview
Reporting into the CFO this position is responsible for full-cycle accounting financial reporting budgeting and oversight of internal controls. It plays a key role in supporting various operational teams while also managing a small team.
Responsibilities
Manage the day to day financial operations including ap ar balance sheet and month end activities
Oversee cash flow forecasting day-to-day cash management and banking activities
Lead monthly variance analysis and reporting
Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance
Lead the development of the annual budget periodic forecasts and support long-range strategic planning
Provide leadership and coaching to a small team of accounting professionals
Qualifications
CPA designation required
5 years of experience in accounting roles with ownership of A/P A/R and general ledger functions
Min 2 years at a managerial levelCPG or Food Manufacturing Industry experience preferred
Standard costing and production variance analysis expertise required
Strong systems experience SAP preferred
