Major Objectives / Accountabilities:
- Managing transhipment cargo flows from origin to destination.
- Creating bookings for cargo originating from Fiji
- Manage all NPDL NZ and AU origin transhipment connections.
- Relationship management with shippers liaising on pricing vessel connections cargo releases.
- Managing transshipment port shuttle moves customs clearance and local transport where required.
- Ensure the customer experience journey with clients agents and Principals through accurate and timely responses.
- Ensure uplift reports are sent as soon as vessel has sailed.
- Monthly KPI reporting
- Ensuring trade specific timelines are met for documentation in advance of the vessels arrival date.
- Process all express releases relating to nominated vessels.
- Assist with export Booking for PIL MELL & GLA trade lanes.
- Reports and update Parties concerned of Transshipment Stock Report received from Terminal.
- Manage DG Approval or Storage with relevant local authorities
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications :
Education
- Tertiary studies in management / business administration with supply chain desirable
- Minimum 2 years shipping / freight experience in similar position
- Team player with positive customer-centric attitude
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- Process-oriented approach to work and excellent attention to detail.
- Effective Time management and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated adaptability to work to changing deadlines.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient training experience in CargoWise desirable
- Resilient team player who is goal-orientated and demonstrates a high level of commitment with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
