Location: Humboldt CA
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Hours: 9 AM - 5:30 PM
Pay: $18/hr DOE


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin HR professional to support the daily operations of the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will assist with administrative tasks employee record-keeping recruitment coordination and compliance with company policies and labor laws. This role requires strong communication skills confidentiality and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with employee onboarding including document collection and orientation scheduling
  • Maintain accurate employee records including personnel files attendance and benefits documentation
  • Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews posting job openings and screening applicants
  • Process HR-related paperwork including contracts payroll changes and compliance documents
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs
  • Assist with payroll processing by verifying attendance and handling basic payroll-related inquiries
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies benefits and procedures
  • Support HR projects such as performance reviews engagement surveys and company events
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws company policies and confidentiality requirements
  • Assist with administrative tasks including filing reporting and maintaining HR databases

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of HR functions labor laws and payroll processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and HR software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
