Job Description

Context

Organs on Chip or microphysiological systems (MPS) have the potential to increase the speed of discovery of new treatments and replace animal models. At Cherry Biotech we developed a new device CubiX that controls the physical parameters of the cellular environment.

Mission

In our biological facility a relevant part of the work is represented by service activities. In this context you will learn how to build complex and advanced organs-on-chip models and contribute to generate high quality experiments and reports.

Your main tasks during the internship:

Assist and perform experiments in a quality control setting

Generate analyze and interpret data

Communicate results by reports and oral presentations

Participate in other lab activities

Main skills expected to be acquired at the end of the Cherry experience:

Develop a good theoretical and practical knowledge about advanced in vitro models and MPS (micro physiological systems)

Perform experiment in a quality control and digitalized laboratory

Improve your biology technical skills

Understand the start-up ecosystem

Work as a team player in interdisciplinary fields
