Call 4 Health is a leading medical call center and telehealth solutions provider delivering high-quality compassionate patient support services across the country. Our Human Resources team plays a vital role in ensuring compliance efficiency and a people-first workplace culture.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time HR Generalist to assist with a wide range of HR operations in a remote capacity. This role supports the HR Director in areas such as FMLA management benefits administration compliance monitoring HR audits unemployment claims and terminations. The ideal candidate is highly organized detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment especially with sensitive and regulated HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Audits

  • Conduct regular internal HR audits of personnel files I-9s training records and benefits data
  • Ensure organizational compliance with federal and state labor regulations including ACA and FLSA requirements
  • Track and report ACA eligibility hours of service and assist with 1095-C preparation and distribution
  • Monitor FLSA classifications overtime policies and timekeeping compliance for hourly and exempt staff
  • Assist in developing and maintaining SOPs HR policies and handbook updates
  • Support the HR Director in annual compliance reviews and regulatory filings

Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Administer employee benefits including enrollment eligibility audits changes and COBRA coordination
  • Manage and document FMLA ADA and other leave-of-absence requests ensuring legal compliance and timely communication
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve employee benefit issues and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor and reconcile benefit deductions and eligibility reports

Employee Life Cycle & Support

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding including background checks new hire orientation prep and exit processes
  • Prepare and process termination documentation including final pay COBRA notices and access deactivation
  • Respond to Verification of Employment (VOE) requests
  • Manage unemployment claims and coordinate appeal documentation
  • Help maintain accurate HRIS records and employee files

General HR Support

  • Provide assistance on employee relations documentation investigations and case tracking
  • Assist in coordinating employee engagement programs compliance training and internal communications
  • Generate periodic HR reports (headcount turnover leave tracking ACA eligibility etc.)
  • Support the HR Director with various administrative tasks and project-based HR initiatives
  • Answer routine employee questions regarding policies benefits and compliance

Qualifications

  • 2 years of Human Resources experience in a generalist or compliance-heavy role
  • Knowledge of ACA FLSA FMLA ADA and other federal/state employment laws
  • Experience with benefits administration leave management and audit preparation
  • Ability to work remotely and independently with strong time management and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Outlook Word); familiarity with HRIS platforms
  • Detail-oriented highly organized and discreet with sensitive information

Preferred Traits

  • Experience in healthcare call center or multi-state HR environments
  • Strong documentation reporting and analytical skills
  • Comfortable improving or creating HR processes and workflows
