Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR/Recruiter to join our team in Buffalo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment and HR processes particularly within the homecare or transportation industries. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle supporting HR operations and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source screen and interview candidates for a variety of roles

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs

  • Post and manage job listings on various platforms

  • Conduct reference and background checks

  • Prepare and deliver job offers

  • Assist with onboarding and new hire documentation

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases

  • Support HR-related functions such as employee relations and compliance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and labor laws

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in recruiting or HR (preferably in homecare or transportation)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred

Schedule:

  • Full-time

  • Monday to Friday

  • Occasional flexibility may be required
