Our Perth Technical Services team is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join us in supporting the technology that powers one of Australias leading broadcast networks. This role sits within a dynamic team responsible for technical operations broadcast maintenance and IT systems providing essential support to news editorial and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support for internal users and operators across broadcast and newsroom systems
• Troubleshoot and maintain studio systems including cameras robotics vision/audio processing and distribution systems
• Maintain field-based news gathering equipment such as cameras and associated gear
• Perform regular maintenance fault finding and repairs to ensure smooth and continuous operations
• Communicate effectively with users operators and fellow technical team members
• Manage tasks independently make informed decisions and prioritise effectively to maintain business continuity
• Support a 24/7 broadcast environment with rotating shifts including weekends

What You Bring:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills calm under pressure and solution-focused
• Solid knowledge of television broadcast systems including vision and audio fundamentals studio workflows and newsroom control systems (NRCS)
• A sound understanding of computer-aligned technologies and IT infrastructure
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies in broadcast and media
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including evenings and weekends
