Administration Officer Services Vetting

  • Fixed Term (0.81.0 FTE) until June 2026

About Us

No to Violence is Australias largest peak body dedicated to supporting services and individuals working with men who use family violence. We operate several key programs including the national Mens Referral Service the national Brief Intervention Service and the Victorian-based Perpetrator Accommodation Support Service. Our services offer free confidential counselling referral and support.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Administration Officer Services Vetting to support the development of an online National Directory of Services for People Using Violence. This directory will offer a central search location for the public and professionals to source relevant support services for people using or at risk of using violence to encourage referrals to and uptake of these services.

Youll be responsible for vetting services for inclusion in the directory against eligibility and risk criteria ensuring information is recorded accurately and decisions are made in line with our quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a national initiative that supports systemic change and increases access to support pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct vetting checks on service nominations applying due diligence and escalating high-risk matters
  • Draft and send formal communications to service providers regarding the outcomes of nominations
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date records of vetting findings and outcomes
  • Collaborate with project and compliance teams to improve processes and frameworks
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned documentation
  • Provide general administrative support as required

To be successful in the role you will have:

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience using risk profiling frameworks or due diligence tools
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation review
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to identify high-risk matters requiring escalation or guidance
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Desirable:

  • An understanding of domestic family or sexual violence sectors
  • Qualifications in business administration or relevant experience
