About the Role:
As a key member of our Crime Division youll be at the frontline of supporting our lawyers and clients through vital administrative work. Your role will help ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have access to timely high-quality legal services. Youll work closely with solicitors manage confidential files liaise with clients coordinate services and be a critical link in the justice process.
What Youll Do:
Be a first point of contact for clientson the phone and in person.
Manage and maintain accurate records in our Client Management System.
Organise client files and assist with court list preparations.
Provide vital administrative support to a fast-paced legal team.
What Youll Need:
Strong communication skills and confidence managing client enquiries.
High-level computer skills (MS Office email data entry).
A team-focused reliable and proactive approach to your work.
Understanding of Aboriginal culture and the role of NAAJA is highly desirable.
Ability to obtain a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) and pass a criminal history check.
