Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Chat Representative to join our remote team. In this role you will be responsible for engaging with customers through our online chat platform providing product information answering questions and ultimately converting leads into sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with potential customers through our online chat platform providing prompt and professional responses to inquiries
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services to meet those needs
- Educate customers on product features benefits and pricing to help them make informed decisions
- Overcome objections and address concerns to move customers through the sales funnel
- Upsell and cross-sell products when appropriate to maximize sales opportunities
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions sales and follow-ups in our CRM system
- Collaborate with team members to share best practices and improve overall sales performance
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge industry trends and competitor offerings
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
- Provide feedback on customer interactions to help improve products services and processes
- Escalate complex issues or technical problems to appropriate departments when necessary
Requirements
Qualifications
- 1-13 years of experience in sales preferably in an online or chat-based environment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong typing skills with the ability to maintain multiple chat conversations simultaneously
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and chat software
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities and work schedules
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Basic technical knowledge to troubleshoot common issues
Professional Requirements High school diploma or equivalent qualification A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role preferred Must be detail oriented and able to follow written and verbal instructions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
