Job Description
We are seeking passionate and talented students who want to make an impact by helping to develop next generation products and innovative machine learning algorithms at ZEISS.
Integrated in a fast-growing team of scientists and research engineers you will work (for at least 3 months) on helping us to develop core algorithms and taking academic ideas into working prototypes.
Your Role

Literature research & deep dive into the current state-of-the-art world of AI
Application & implementation of these technologies into a real-world Zeiss scenario
Continuous exchange with internal AI experts
Your Profile
Bachelors degree in computer science software engineering data science with an outstanding study record and currently enrolled in a masters program
Solid understanding of AI especially NLP LLMs & agents
Programming background in Python and hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow
Hands-on experience with AI integration & deployment or MLOps
High motivation creativity flexibility and a structured and independent way of working
Effective communication and presentation skills in English or German
