Job Description
With continued growth across QLD the Resources and Industrial (R&I) team have opened an opportunity for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with demonstrated mining infrastructure experience to help drive the technical outcome for a range of infrastructure projects from the Brisbane office.
What will a day in this role look like:
- Collaborate with industry leaders and technical specialists whilst working as part of a dynamic and consultative team on major mining projects both across Australia and internationally.
- Gain exposure to major mining heavy industry or industrial operations projects across all phases of the project lifecycle from studies through to detailed engineering and execution.
- Actively participate in the preparation of technical reports and design documentation using your experience as a Structural Engineer
- Utilising your relevant experience assist with the development of our upcoming engineers and graduates by advising and mentoring the next generation of engineering consultants.
- Work closely with a team of multi-disciplinary engineers on large projects ensuring project quality time and budget commitments are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design of mining infrastructure and heavy industrial projects.
- Manage project timelines budgets and deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Liaise with clients contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and structural assessments as needed.

- Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree Major in Structural Engineering.
- RPQ Eligibility
- Proven engineering / design experience within mining local government or heavy industry sectors.
- Proficient in producing engineering documentation such as technical specifications datasheets reports and scope of works.
