Our client is a global technology leader supporting a government agency undertaking a strategic upgrade of its Cognos platforms. The project focuses on enhancing architectural design improving audit capabilities and integrating IBM partner solutions across secure environments. The team values technical excellence collaboration and secure delivery.
About the role:
We are seeking a Cognos Architect Specialist to lead the design upgrade and integration of Cognos platforms. This role involves architectural planning troubleshooting and implementing high-availability solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and client partners to ensure seamless integration and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design and planning for Cognos platform upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and upgrade Cognos software across multiple environments.
- Assist with implementing client partner solutions.
- Improve audit logging capabilities and integrate with existing systems.
- Ensure high availability and secure deployment of Cognos platforms.
Required Experience:
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven expertise in Cognos implementation and administration.
- Experience in architectural design and troubleshooting Cognos environments.
- Australian citizen with Baseline clearance (NV1 preferred).
- Based in Canberra.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience integrating Cognos with other enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with client partner solutions and high-availability configurations.
Whats on offer
This is a contract role for834.5 hours over 6 months commencingasap through to 30th December 2025 based inCanberra. Youll work on a high-impact upgrade project with opportunities to shape secure and scalable Cognos architecture.
