ATCO Structures & Logistics is looking to hire a registered Apprentice Electrician ( I IIIIIIV year) to join our Calgary Manufacturing Plant. Under the guidance of a Lead Hand or Journeyperson the Apprentice Electrician is responsible for the wiring of modular units from rough to finishing. This is a union-based role. Location will be Calgary and Rockyview Location
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting and or wiring modular units from rough-in to finishing
- Assisting in and or installation of wiring units panels and fixtures
- Read and interpret drawings circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
- Troubleshoot and test all electrical wiring units and fixtures in modular units.
- Perform quality inspections and inspect tools and the shop.
- Use hands and power tools.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Actively registered Apprentice Electrician (I II III or IV year) under Alberta Trades.
- Previous experience with modular units is considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools as well as materials.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
