Under the direction of the Supervisor of Maintenance the Electrician:
Installs maintains upgrades and repairs electrical and fire alarm systems throughout the Board;
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor;
Some overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:
Secondary School graduation diploma;
Five (5) year Electrical Construction and Maintenance License 309A (includes the equivalent of one year of Community College);
Fire alarm system certified ( Certi-Fire or CFAA) ;
Two (2) years of related commercial experience;
Ability to work independently;
Good interpersonal skills;
Valid drivers licence;
Satisfactory Police Record Check will be a condition of employment.
This is a temporary full-time position with an annual salary of $89471.40. The start date is approximately July 14 2025 with an expected end date of August 31 2025.
