Description
  • Address: Abbots Hall Community Primary School Stowmarket Suffolk IP14 1QF
  • Salary: 17430 per annum (25185 pro rata) 13.05 per hour
  • Hours: 30 hours 50 minutes per week 38 weeks term time only 6 hours 10 minutes per day including half an hour lunchtime support 8.40 am to 3.20 pm (half an hour lunch break)
  • Contract: Fixed Term for 1 year. Required as soon as possible
  • Reference: 7656

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and successful primary school to undertake the responsibilities of supporting learning progress and attainment of pupils. You will work in Year 2 (but must be able to work across all year groups from reception to year 6).

We are seeking candidates with school-based experience anywhere from reception to year 6. Experience working with children providing interventions supporting children with special needs working one to one with small groups andwhole class support is highly desirable.

Experience and/or qualifications in working with and supporting pupils with behaviour or learning needs is highly desirable.

You must have obtained a grade C/4 or above in English and mathematics at GCSE or equivalent.
