Job Description
We are partenered a global freight forwarding company in search for a Assistant Finance Manager based in Singapore. This role will collaboratively work with APAC entities on various finance functions such as budgetting cash forecasting credit management and others.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist with the preparation of annual working capital and periodic cash forecasts
- Support the regional finance team in ad-hoc projects as well as continuous improvement initiatives
- Support financial review processes including balance sheet review planning forecasting and ad-hoc analysis
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and develop periodic forecasts. Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Work with data source providers to ensure data accuracy complete and updated
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in a MNC environment within the freight forwarding industry
- Experience with month end General Ledger closing and reporting
- Highly analytical and detail oriented
- Experience in accounting / credit control software implementation will be advantageous
