Job Summary

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

1. Take part in tender preparation in reviewing budget staffing and work plans to guarantee fees

2. Plan costs and project cash flows and communicate with stakeholders for monitoring and controlling

3. Prepare annual budgets (plan) and quarterly forecast

4. Timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/annual financial and management reporting in compliance with all relevant accounting standards corporate guidelines and other regulatory and legal requirements

5. Prepare annual reports including notes to the financial statements

6. To prepare & present the project papers for evaluations to banks investors regulatory bodies and others

Cost accounting & controlling

1. Track actual costs including manpower effort equipment usage procured resources

2. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting

3. Formulate and enforce continuous improvement on financial and operations internal controls policies and procedures identify accounting problems research possible solutions and forms conclusions to be presented to superior

Ad-hoc

Support ad-hoc assignment related to all areas of accounting and finance

Education & Qualifications

1. At least 4 years of relevant experience within external audit/financial accounting/reporting capacity

2. Experience in Agricultures industry is an advantage

3. Minimum bachelors degree in finance or accounting

4. Professional qualification from a recognised body (ACCA/CIMA/CA/CPA) is highly preferred.

5. Solid accounting/tax technical background including consolidation and reporting

6. Proficient in accounting standards Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and Familiar with the requirements and guidelines of Bursa Malaysia and other authorities

7. Understand the requirement for preparation of announcement to the relevant stock exchange
