Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager - Fixed Network

Company: XAD Technologies LTD
Location: Slough UK

Contract Details: Full-time permanent

XAD Technologies LTD is a leading provider of innovative fixed network solutions for businesses across the UK. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Slough.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the planning execution and delivery of our fixed network projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers technicians and vendors to ensure that projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage design planning installation and maintenance of civil works cable Laying and associated works for deploying long Haul FTTH/FTTX FDH Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) for all fixed network projects.
  • Implementation of all projects SOW SLA KPIs and preparation and implementation of Resources Plan budget business plan Project implementation plans risk assessment plans contingencies and projects delivery plans.
  • lead Project Management Department and ensure proper planning implementation monitoring and successful delivery of projects upto client expectations.
  • Administers the project plan and ensures delivery of multiple FTTP projects to time cost and quality in a safe and compliant way.
  • Client management - including Tier 1 Contractors Local Authorities.
  • Identifies and manages the critical path for build
  • Develop and maintain project plans timelines and budgets
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders
  • Manage project resources including personnel and equipment
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to management
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
  • Monitor and track project expenses to ensure they stay within budget
  • Identify and resolve any project issues or conflicts in a timely manner
  • Prepare and present project reports to management and clients
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management preferably in the telecommunications industry within UK

- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Proficient in project management tools and software

- PMP certification is a plus
