Job Title : Junior Network Engineer
Location: Fairfax VA
Duration: Long Term contract
The candidate must be on our W-2. Please let me know onsite and remote rate on W2 both for same role.

Job Description: (1-3 yrs exp)
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g. routers and switches);
Assist in network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs patches hot fixes and security configurations;
Provide Level-1/2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues;
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure;
Assist in the implementation of security tools policies and procedures in conjunction with the companys security team; Liaise with other IT personnel for problem resolution;
Proven hands-on network experience;
CCNA or higher; Familiar with networking fundamentals such as 802.11 VLan and VRFs;
Good understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model; Hands-on experience with monitoring network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
Cisco family of routers and switches (Catalyst); Juniper family of router switches and Mist.
InfoBlox IPAM DNS and DHCP. Solarwinds NPM.
