AES Clean Energy is seeking a Lead Analyst Product Systems to join our growing organization. In this position you will be responsible for developing maintaining and enhancing our software applications and products that support our rapidly growing business. AES CE a division of The AES Corporation specializes in developing owning and operating renewable energy projects. The Product Developer will be part of a team of developers and product teams designing implementing and maintaining solutions that meet our organizations needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills excellent communication abilities and a deep understanding of business processes and IT systems. This position will preferably be based in the Louisville Colorado office.
Key Responsibilities
Product Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with product owners product managers stakeholders and users to gather and document detailed product requirements. Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications and system designs. Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis to assess potential solutions.
System Design and Development: Design develop test and deploy software solutions using Quickbase SQL and other relevant technologies. Create detailed system documentation including functional specifications process flows and data models.
Product Lifecycle Management: Support the product lifecycle from concept to launch and ongoing optimization. Troubleshoot issues with the product and create best practices to prevent future issues. Provide support to end-users and guidance to junior analysts. Monitor and analyze product performance identifying opportunities for improvement.
Testing Quality Assurance & Training: Develop and execute test plans to ensure product systems meet quality standards and user expectations. Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) processes. Identify document and resolve system issues and defects. Training of users on application use functionality data quality and reporting. Create and maintain effective application documentation and user support materials
Skills and Qualifications:
College Degree in Computer Science Technology or Business field.
7-10 years demonstrated experience in the implementation and support of business systems software platforms.
Requires advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with BI tools preferably Power BI.
Strong Data Analysis and Modeling experience and understanding of data structures.
Familiarity and/or experience in Agile development preferred
Broad technical acumen including strong understanding of relational databases and data structures (Quickbase experience preferred).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance prioritize and manage multiple projects of differing priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to comfortably communicate with all levels of the organization. Create comprehensive and accurate documentation.
Ability to work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment and a powerful sense of accountability in an environment committed to continuous improvement and agile development.
