Job Description
- Perform routine maintenance inspections and repairs on commercial equipment including HVAC systems electrical installations and mechanical components
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions using technical expertise and appropriate diagnostic tools
- Interpret technical manuals schematics and blueprints to carry out installations and repairs accurately
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and energy efficiency standards
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve complex technical issues
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices
- Respond to emergency call-outs and perform on-site repairs when required
Qualifications :
- Vocational or technical diploma in a relevant field such as HVAC Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in commercial equipment maintenance and repair
- Proficiency in using various diagnostic tools and interpreting technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical approach
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and energy efficiency standards in the commercial sector
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g. F-Gas certification) are highly desirable
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the local area
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required
