Job Description
Our client is the global leader in the manufacture and supply of domestic and commercialappliances. A high standard product requires high standard customer and technical service to match andtothis end we are seeking quality Field Service Technicians to join their ranks in New South Wales based in Sydneys west. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience with appliances howeverapplicants with experience in other trades are encouraged to apply.
Your day-to-day duties revolve around working with commercial appliances in a range of customer settings. Responsibilities include:
- Installation of new commercial/professional machinery in the field including laundry kitchenand medicalapplications
- Provide initial user operation training as required
- Attending to breakdown situations
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance activities
- Completion of required reports/paperwork
In order to thrive our successful candidatewill possess the following:
- A trade background in a relevant mechanical or electrical discipline.
- A Restricted Electrical licence at a minimum
- Competency in troubleshooting and repairing machinery or appliances.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Occasional intrastate travel required
- The ability to work autonomously to a high standard
Ideally you will have experience in appliances however qualifications in other trades(refrigeration HVAC gasfitting etc) will be considered as full product training will be provided.
