The Customer Channels Group is a global distributor of scientific products and services. The Third Party Customer Experience Specialist is responsible for relationship development implementation and commercial alignment for Third Party customers. This position will work collaboratively with the Industry Directors Account Managers internal project teams and the European TPP Customer Coordinator on RFP responses contract creation price management and execution of the Third Party Program across assigned customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Industry Directors Sales Managers Account Managers and the European TPP Customer Coordinator to build commercial alignment on RFPs and Contracts that include Third Party Services.
  • Work collaboratively with sales on RFP responses proformas contract creation and implementation projects for assigned customers / territory
  • Take ownership for sophisticated sourcing projects involving CAPEX handling the project work from initiation to fulfillment.
  • Assemble and collate data from suppliers as required to meet project demands.
  • Help drive implementation of new wins
  • Provides direction and training to the sales team on Third Party Services
  • Assist sales with corporate relationships by understanding customer life cycle and contract timeframes
  • Measures customer satisfaction with Third Party services and develops strategies to improve
  • Actively handle customer specific pricing ensuring that the accurate settings are used within IBS and that we adhere to our contractual terms
  • Support and where relevant lead new TPP project opportunities that customers may require. Continually review the processes to ensure that the business can provide a first class service and meet the demands of our customers.
  • Liaise with the supplier team to ensure that products are bought on accurate terms and that quality objectives are met.
  • Maintain and keep accurate the sourcing guide ensuring terms are up-to-date and that the TPP pricing methods are implemented correctly.

Knowledge Skills and Ability:

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and demonstrate flexibility with priorities
  • Ability to work comfortably and collaboratively with customers and sales team members
  • Ability to communicate optimally both written and verbally with management regarding progress and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as optimally in a team environment
  • Ability to learn new technologies and self-train when appropriate
  • Strong financial competence
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Demonstrable organizational skills ability to multi-task and attention-to-detail.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of local processes and procedures vital to complete the role
  • Bi-Lingual dependent on countries being supported

Education and Experience

  • Proven experience or Bachelors Degree in relevant field
  • Confirmed customer experience
  • Strong technical skills including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Access Microsoft Excel and Cognos
