Engineering Manager

About:

Were seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of structural civil and drafting professionals in delivering utility infrastructure projects. This role oversees the full project lifecycle-from planning and design to execution-while ensuring quality compliance and team performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor engineering/drafting staff.
  • Manage project delivery schedules and resources.
  • Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Resolve project and personnel issues proactively.
  • Foster collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
  • Drive process improvements and innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Civil Mechanical Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred).
  • 10 years in utility engineering; 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with capital projects utility operations or EPC environments.
  • Familiarity with tools like PLS-CADD ETAP SolidWorks.
  • PMP or equivalent project management training (preferred).
