Description
Deliverables:
- Provide project management expertise to the ministry oversight of planning and implementation relating to initiatives to improve access to PHI and digital health care services
- Liaise with Ontario Health (OH) to identify and manage project dependencies in alignment with the provincial digital health strategy PCAT strategic priorities EHR modernization enhancements to Health811 and any other projects relating to the wider initiative
- For each workstream proactively manage approved plans with the OH project team and work with relevant parties on risk mitigation strategies to ensure commitments and deliverables are completed as per approvals and stakeholder expectations. and nbsp; and nbsp;
- Facilitate multiple project work streams by following sound project management methodology processes and procedures. and nbsp;
- Develop maintain and regularly complete any reporting or dashboard tools as required. and nbsp; and nbsp;
- Develop and establish an integrated project plan with OH to support individual access to PHI and digital health care services with input from other project team members. and nbsp;
- Develop reporting and communication materials as needed including the consolidation of requirements in out-years to inform strategic planning and funding planning/requirements moving forward in subsequent project phases. and nbsp;
- Maintain up-to-date project schedule for ministry consumption and track project budget schedule and deliverables using industry standard project management systems tools and templates against the approved baselines. and nbsp; and nbsp;
- Prepare and present status reports and updates for any relevant steering committees advisory panels working groups or similar governance bodies. and nbsp;
- Ensure project artefacts and deliverables reflect a superior understanding of: and nbsp;
- The necessary legislation and regulations to enable individual access to PHI and digital health care services in the Ontario context; and nbsp;
- The current landscape of digital health tools used to support patient access to PHI including patient portals apps etc. and the opportunities to transform care and improve services to support a unified patient experience in digital health; and nbsp; and nbsp;
- Understanding of the landscape of digital health resources available for patients (e.g. virtual care health symptom checkers chatbots etc.);
- Strong knowledge of digital health systems and programs including Health811 secure log-in mechanisms patient portals and the provincial EHR; and nbsp; and nbsp;
- All relevant digital health/information technology issues including policy clinical / business and technical (e.g. interoperability standards licensing operations and sustainment etc.) requirements; and and nbsp;
- Private and public sector delivery partner capacity to deliver technology in a clinical setting; and and nbsp;
- Best practices in information technology project management. and nbsp;

Skills
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Health sector and digital health experience: 20 points and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;
- Strong understanding of the healthcare system structures processes stakeholder groups and affected populations and how healthcare services are delivered in the province based on extensive experience with Ontarios health sector; and nbsp;
- Strong track record of experience with the ministry and its delivery partners and in-depth knowledge of the levers and instruments of change; and and nbsp;
- Strong knowledge of and experience with the digital health systems programs vendors assets and solutions in Ontario. and nbsp;
Program and project management: 20 points and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;
- Extensive experience managing complex projects with a demonstrated track record of successful delivery within approved plan scope and budget and business outcomes; and nbsp;
- Demonstrated leadership and resource management skills including the ability to direct activities and manage a variety of professionals; and and nbsp;
- Strong working knowledge of project methodologies and standards (e.g. PMBOK) and tools (e.g. MS Project). and nbsp;
