Job Description

We are seeking for a seasoned and operationally focused Operations Manager to lead and optimize the end-to-end manufacturing operations of a well-established contract manufacturing business. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence team performance and customer satisfaction across a highly customized production environment.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with deep experience in electronics manufacturing capable of managing complex operations and aligning cross-functional teams with strategic business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of daily operations overseeing functions such as Production Quality Engineering Planning Procurement and Warehousing.

  • Formulate and execute operational plans that align with the company’s objectives focusing on efficiency output and cost savings.

  • Guarantee timely delivery of products that comply with customer expectations and recognized industry standards (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949 IPC).

  • Track operational metrics and KPIs to evaluate performance and implement improvements as needed.

  • Champion continuous improvement efforts using tools like Lean Six Sigma and 5S across the organization.

  • Work in close partnership with Sales Program Management and Engineering teams to ensure smooth New Product Introductions (NPI) and transition to volume production.

  • Manage production schedules resource allocation and capacity planning to meet customer demand effectively.

  • Lead and nurture operational teams fostering a high-performance culture with strong employee engagement and retention.

  • Control operational budgets and drive cost management initiatives.

  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) standards as well as company policies.

  • Promote a results-oriented culture built on collaboration accountability and ongoing development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Operations Manufacturing or related disciplines.

  • At least 8–10 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing operations ideally within EMS or electronics sectors.

  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams.

  • In-depth understanding of SMT PCB assembly injection molding and related electronics manufacturing practices.

  • Solid background in Lean Six Sigma and operational excellence methodologies.

  • Strong analytical mindset with effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable working in high-pressure fast-paced customer-centric environments.

  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
